Hello everyone...
It's around Thanksgiving time in the USA... and over the last few days most e-mails from web sites I subscribe to have some kind of gratitude message. Today I received one from MyDailyInsights (there's a link to subscribe to this newsletter on the resource page of my website) and I really like it!
The quote is entitled "Be Thankful" and the author is unknown. Here goes:
Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire,
if you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge
because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes
they will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you are tired and weary
because it means you've made a difference.
It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessing.
I love this quote... it has so many pertinent thoughts. What do you think? I'd love to hear from you... follow the comment link to leave your comments.
Best wishes
Jeanne

Fantastic reminder to be grateful not just for the good but also for the seemingly bad. Thanks for this piece.
When I take a negative and look for the possibility of being grateful in that, it turns miraculously into a positive.

Thanks Sam for your comment -- it was great to hear from you. It really doesn't take much to find something to be grateful for in every situation... no matter how difficult! We only need to look a little deeper... and think outside the square!
Best wishes
