Hello everyone...
I've just read the transcript of an interview entitled "A Conversation with Joe Vitale" where Joe Vitale is interviewed by Bill Harris from the Masters of the Secret Series.
The transcript covers many aspects of The Law of Attraction and how to manifest the things that you desire. One of the concepts talked about made me stop and seriously think about where I sometimes get stuck... and it probably applies to you as well.
The concept is about asking questions... and more importantly, the way that you ask.
Joe asks: "do you ask a question in a positive or negative way?" He goes on to say that your brain can be directed in a certain way, and you can direct it by the questions you ask. He suggests that many people ask negative kind of questions, which in turn brings negative experiences to them.
So... do you ask in a positive or in a negative way? For example, do you ask "why can't I.....?" or do you ask "how can I....?"
You may have a goal that you want to achieve, for example you want to start your own business, become healthy, lose weight. But some people may ask "what if things go wrong?", "what if I don't get well?", "what if I don't earn enough money to pay the bills?"...
And these kinds of "what if this happens?" questions causes your subconscious to find solutions to the questions you have asked.
So... if you ask "what if I don't get enough money by the end of the week to pay the bills" your brain is going to oblige and say "ok, let's come up with all the ways that you can't get enough money to pay the bills by the end of the week"... your brain will obey. And according to Joe and Bill and thousands of others out there... your brain will always obey!
But: if you ask the question differently e.g. "what are some of the ways to raise money by the end of the week"... your brain will be obedient. It will find all sorts of ways to give you what you are looking for; it will alert you to the answers and the opportunities that come your way which will give you what you you are asking for.
That make sense to me! And I'm going to become much more conscious of the way I ask questions. And it is all about awareness... being aware of your words and your thoughts means that you can control them much more easily.
Let me know what you think about this... do you agree with this? You can leave a comment by clicking on the comment link below. I value your comments and thoughts!
Best wishes
Jeanne

Mentors are all positive people with whom we enjoy aking questions...naturally they reflect a position with positive communication even if the mood is negative or sad.
Who wants to go back to someone who isnt positive??
Chosen carefully words build rapport and love.

Thanks B B John for your comment.
Yes mentors are positive people that we turn to for guidance and support.
In our quest for personal development it is a useful skill to learn the most effective way of asking questions... If questions are worded in a positive manner e.g."how can I", the universe will respond accordingly. Likewise, if a question is worded negatively e.g. "why can't I?" the universe is happy to oblige with many manifestations of can'ts!
Best wishes
