The Power of Now: Jim Carrey's thoughts
Many people rely on their spiritual beliefs and understanding of the laws of the universe to successfully achieve what they desire in life.
Jim Carrey, a successful comedy actor, is one such person who has used his spiritual background and beliefs to achieve enormous success in his career.
I must confess... I'm not a Jim Carrey fan in terms of his acting ability. His movies don't impress me (I'm not really into comedy)... but I am impressed with his thoughts and the way he lives by his spiritual beliefs.
In this very brief video, Jim Carrey discusses his thoughts on Eckhart Tolles philosophy and those expressed in his new Book "A New Earth".
The power we have is in this very moment.... that is the basis of Eckhart Tolles philosophy. Jim talks about how this applies to his life... and therefore everybody else's.

Jeannie,
I am like you, I am not a big fan of Jim Carrey's work but I did see an interview he did long ago, I was really impressed by it. He talked about when he was just starting out and he was actually living out of his car - he had a dream of making it big so he wrote himself a check for 10 millions dollars and every night and every day he would look at this check and say to himself that is what he would be paid for making a movie. He had just realized that dream and been paid 10 million for the movie he had recently made - I am a firm believer in the power of the mind - the power of intention - put along with the right actions behind it all of course... It really is amazing what we all can achieve!

Hi Pamela...
Thanks for your comments -- it was great to hear from you.
All too often we see people who have successfully achieved the life they desire and think that it has always been like that for them. It's really good to learn about their background... where they started in their life and how they accomplished what they have.
If they can do it... so can anyone.
Warmly
Jeanne
