Goal Setting -- but what about achieving goals??
We all set goals... we all have goals we would like to achieve.
Some goals are related to the work we do, our financial situation, our health and fitness, our relationships, where we live... or related to our happiness.
Having a goal you want to achieve is important to everyone -- having goals gives us purpose and direction in our life.
But what is the one thing, the major thing, that prevents you from achieving your goal?
If you have set goals in the past and not achieved them... what has got in your way?
I would be really interested to know from you, what is your biggest hurdle, obstacle or problem to achieving your goals?

I think the honest answer to this is fear. I have set many goals, but I let the fear hold me back from achieving any results. Once I let the fear go, I have been able to make great progress. I'm still afriad; I just do it anyway.

Hi Connie...
Thanks for your comment and response to the question.
Undoubtedly, fear is a major block to achieving anything in life... and it's great if you can push beyond the fear and do it anyway.
Do you know what the fear is about? ... what you are actually are afraid of?
Sometimes it's helpful to describe what the fear "looks like"... once we can see what it is really about, it may be easier to push through it.

For me I think what keeps me for achieving my goals is Confidence in myself that I can do it. I also have a hard time trying set a plan and put it in motion.

High Danieal...
thanks for your comment.
Confidence is something that many people lack... and fortunately you can develop your confidence (a great affordable book is at http://www.confidencepower.com).
Also not having a plan for your goals tends to leave them vague... and I bet you find yourself getting nowhere fast.
Please let me know if I can help you with either of these.
And thanks again for your comments.
Warmly
Jeanne
