Throughout my life I have sought the assistance of different mentors... I have also had the privilege to be a mentor to a number of people.
It never ceases to amaze me how much I benefit from having a mentor... it certainly helps fasttrack my progress in whatever area I am seeking assistance and guidance in.
I have used a mentor at different times in my student days at university... and then there have been professional mentors who have featured strongly in my life.
When I began taking my work online, I soon realised I needed to find someone or people who can mentor me particularly in the initial stages of my Internet journey! I recognised very quickly I needed help in this area -- I was floundering, feeling incredibly overwhelmed and completely out of my depth!
Fortunately, I came across the right people, with the right information at the right time. Some mentored me for a few weeks until I learned what I could from them... and Connie Ragen Green has been, and will continue to be my mentor, for a long, long time!
A mentor keeps you on track... is willing to share his or her experience and knowledge in a particular area... helps guide you in the right direction... provides support and guidance... encourages you... has your best interests at heart. A mentor is someone you trust and can learn from.
This week a client contacted me and asked me to be his mentor -- it is always a privilege to mentor someone!
If you feel you could benefit from having a mentor... I invite you to find out more about the program I'm offering...4 Week E-Mail Mentoring Program.
Yesterday I added a bonus to the program which will only be available if you join by 31st August, 2008. And the reason I added this bonus is because I can see the incredible impact it has had on my recent mentee. I would like to offer the same opportunity to others.
